Anna Todd created a One Direction fan fiction starring Harry Styles, "After", and is creating quite a buzz in Wattpad. It has millions of readers and some honchos in Hollywood thought that they could make money out of it by turning it into a movie. It's 50 Shades all over again. Is it the trend nowadays?
Even in my country a fan-fiction from Wattpad was adapted into a movie- "Ang Diary ng Panget." It's a wholesome teenagey, coming of age movie... or something like that. I haven't seen it yet but it does have many positive reviews.
Don't get me wrong, I love fan fictions and have the highest respects for people who take the time to write them. But seriously, a One Direction fan fiction? Into a movie?
I will try to check it out though and see what all the buzz is about.
