I am breezing through this book! Ah to be part of a fandom, who can't not identify with Elle? I mean I'm not slaving over for someone but the fandom life does choose you and you are left with nothing but to adhere and offer your life to it. In this day and age, is there still someone who is not a fan of whatever? I think not, because pop culture.

So by the way, I owe this blog a ton of book reviews. *sigh

In the coming days, I will try to post them little by little, but I'm not too confident though as I might have forgotten crucial details of the stories in some of the books.

Expect book reviews of:

The Hate U Give

Lord of Shadows

Eliza and Her Monsters

My Heart and Other Black Holes

Crazy Rich Asians

China Rich Girlfriend

Turtles All the Way Down

So I'm kind of happy with my reading pace. It's still not like how it used to, but it's a great improvement from my lame 15 books of last year. Ugh, thinking about that still makes me sad.

You think I can still catch up to 50 books? LOL. I cri.

Currently Reading - Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han

currently reading 5/18/2017

Plot:

Lara Jean’s letter-writing days aren’t over in this surprise follow-up to the New York Times bestselling To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You.

Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad’s finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot’s coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding.

But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jean’s the one who’ll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family—and possibly the boy she loves—behind.

When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

I thought it was over. LOL. Lara Jean is always a delight to read though this wasn't on the list of books I'm looking forward to. Enjoying it so far.

Now Reading - The Young Elites by Marie Lu

Yes, I'm definitely liking this story, so far. It's like X-Men in another time and world.

I'm sort of feeling a vibe between Enzo and Rafaelle here. Hmmmm.. will have to read on to find out!

I think I'm going to like Adelina's character. I foresee a character trope of weak at first but will rise and vanquish all that stands in her way. I really feel a strong character underneath Adelina. She's gutsy, and that's undeniable. I was thinking she should be a little scarred from the death of her father, which in some way is also her fault. The visions of her father she sees from time to time is downright creepy but I don't think she's that bothered by it. just shows that what you give is what you get. Her father never gave her a second thought and so she's doing the same thing.

Violetta - I think that I will be annoyed with her character... but it is yet too early to tell.

Currently Reading - Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

currently reading 11/05/2015

Hiya! It's been a long time. I thought I could focus on school if I stopped reading for a while, but that didn't work. It only made me be distracted with other things. And by other things I mean my semi-obsession with ONE OK ROCK.

I freakin made an IG account for it! Do you know how much dedication has to be put into updating said account? I have to constantly be up to date with whatever they are doing, especially because they are on tour! I'm not obligated but as a fangirl, there are no such thing as obligations! It's pure LOVE!

I don't feel that it was a waste of time because it was a very fulfilling thing (being a fangirl) to be doing. It just made me feel guilty that I put hold my reading for school, but no time was actually put into school work.

I'm sorry, Reading and all the books and stories that I've wronged! I'm never doing it again! You have my attention now. I promise I'll make it all up to you! I love you, you're my life! #weirdo

Anyhoo, started catching up to latest releases I was looking forward to reading. Currently reading Rainbow Rowell's Carry On. It's everything I've hoped for - and so much more! Sometimes after every chapter, I expect to read about Cather.
